Ceroc classes are officially BACK!
Government restrictions have eased to level 0 and we are finally safe to re-open our doors again. Whilst we're excited to get back to normal, we want to be as safe as possible, and therefore there are going to be some temporary changes going forward, including gradual re-openings. There are some big changes that you need to be aware of, so please read below:
We will be gradually opening up with just two venues initially, both in Cardiff and Swansea.
Cardiff will be held at Dinas Powys Parish Hall on Thursdays, opening back up THIS week: Thursday, 12th August.
(This is a temporary format. Eventually we will be returning to Monday nights and Llanover Hall - or another venue).
Swansea will be returning to the normal venue, Swansea Dockers, back on a Wednesday evening, opening: Wednesday, 18th August.
CLASS FORMAT & WRISTBANDS:
Classes and after-class freestyles will resume back to the normal format, and fixed partnering will no longer be required. However, we will still have a fixed partner row for those who still feel more comfortable remaining with a set partner.
We will also be providing wristbands on the door for anyone choosing to stay fixed all night. This helps allow other dancers to know that you don't want to be approached for dances in class or freestyle.
In order to create the safest environment possible, we have decided that going forward we will be requesting a Covid Pass as mandatory entry requirements for customers and crew members at all Ceroc South Wales class night venues.
How to get a Covid Pass?
OPTION 1: Complete online using your NHS login. Then print off a paper copy or download to smartphone to show on entry. This should have roughly 48 hours expiry, so please get this done on the day.
OPTION 2: Call 0300 303 5667 to apply for a Covid Pass certificate, which will be sent by post after 7-10 days. This is a good option if you don't have a smartphone or printer, and there's currently no expiry date on the certificate.
OPTION 3: We can accept your vaccination card with photo ID, shown on the door.

SAFETY & HYGIENE:
Safety for all our members and crew is our TOP priority. We want to make sure you can dance confidently in a safe environment. Please look at the information below:
We will continue to provide anti-bacterial gel at our venues, and the toilets will be stocked with soap and hand sanitiser. Please wash your hands regularly.
It is not mandatory to wear face masks at our venues, but it's okay to wear one if you feel more comfortable.
If you are feeling unwell or have a temperature, we ask that you don't attend a class night.
Whilst we are all excited to get back to dancing and to hug our friends, there are many members who are still nervous and uncomfortable with being in close proximity with other dancers. So please be mindful of everyone's boundaries, and keep a respectful distance from anyone wearing a wristband.
Keep everyone safe:
