On this exciting 2-part SILC fundamentals course we will cover the entire foundation syllabus of SILC and have you smooth dancing in no time
What is SILC?
SILC is a smooth, musicality focused variation of a Ceroc, to compliment a slower tempo.
During both of these 4 hour workshops, we will cover the SILC essentials and techniques: invitation, footwork, momentum and opposition. We will also teach you a variety of moves to kick-start your SILC dancing, learning half of the moves on the syllabus at part 1 and half at part 2. We will help you to gain confidence and knowledge of how to incorporate these SILC techniques into your dancing.
Whilst it is not required to attend both Part 1 and Part 2 of our SILC Fundamentals workshops, we would recommend that you do in order to get the most of the experience. Attending both will cement in the SILC essentials and all the skills needed to eventually move onto the progressive syllabus, as well as allowing you to learn ALL the fundamental moves.

Hans Price Academy is a secondary school in the middle of Weston-super-Mare, near Gallagher Retail Park. and has an ample on-site car park. The school is on or close to a number of local bus routes (please check local bus service provider websites for more information) and is within walking distance of the closest train station - Weston-super-Mare.
