Expressive Blues Workshop Two - Northampton

Event description

Each workshop is standalone and crafted to enhance your dancing and your perspective when dancing to slower tempo tunes. Each additional workshop will further add to your interpretation, musicality and connection to the music and your partner.

Connection and Communication
In Workshop TWO we will explore how to communicate effectively (speaking without words) within the partnership, through breath work, and shared responsibility for the shape and feeling of your dance. As your dance evolves, Tor will show you how to listen and express yourself within the dance.

Tor will guide you on your expressive blues journey, giving you ‘bluesy’ options for each move. She will also introduce travel options so you can ‘travel with style’ on the dance floor while maintaining that all important connection to your partner and the music.

Workshop Two: Connection and Communication Sun 28 Aug
Workshop Three: Connection and Energy Sun 27 Nov
