Dance DNA is a series of creative workshops designed to help you move beyond simply learning moves and discover your own unique style. Explore confidence, musicality, connection and authentic expression, so your dancing feels more natural, instinctive and individual.
Drawing on contemporary dance principles, you'll experiment with movement, shape, tension, timing, pauses and flow, learning how to respond naturally to both your partner and the music. This is about exploration rather than choreography, helping you develop greater freedom, creativity and connection.
Workshop 1 – Stretch, Pause & Connect
Discover how timing, balance and musicality create deeper connection and a genuine dance conversation, empowering followers to express themselves and leaders to develop a more intuitive, responsive lead.
This workshop is suitable for Intermediate level and above dancers.

The Memorial Hall is located on Marford Road, Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire AL4 8AY, next to the Village Surgery and Parish Council offices. It's easily accessible from the village centre by foot, bike, car, or public transport.
On-Site Parking
There is a free on-site car park shared with the GP surgery and Parish Council buildings. Spaces are sufficient for our events with over 80 spaces which are free to use.
Public Transport
Wheathampstead is served by local buses connecting to St Albans, Harpenden, Luton, and Welwyn Garden City. The hall is a short walk from the nearest bus stops.
