Join us for a special introductory workshop and discover the smooth, slotted and expressive style of SILC with guest teachers Greg Urch and Lynn Toyton from Ceroc Surrey.
Whether you're completely new to SILC or an experienced dancer looking to refine your technique, this workshop is designed for all abilities. Starting from the very beginning,
Greg and Lynn will guide you through the foundations of the SILC syllabus in a relaxed and supportive environment, helping you develop your SILC technique.
Held at the stunning Chiesman Pavilion overlooking the Kent County Cricket Ground, it's the perfect setting to experience this elegant and enjoyable dance style.
Continue your day by staying for the freestyle afterwards, where you'll have the chance to put your new skills into practice and enjoy a fantastic afternoon of dancing with friends old and new.

The Chiesman Pavilion at The Spitfire Ground is conveniently located just a few minutes from Canterbury city centre and is easily accessible by road.
By car, the venue is just off the A2050 and is well signposted from the surrounding road network. There is ample free on-site parking available for attendees, with parking located close to the pavilion entrance.
If you're travelling by train, Canterbury East and Canterbury West stations are both approximately a 10-minute drive from the venue, with local taxi services readily available.
