Event end:

Event description
This 3-hour workshop is a gentle introduction to SILC for Ceroc dancers who want to feel more confident dancing to slower, smoother music. It’s not a new dance style, but a way to adapt familiar Ceroc moves using SILC techniques to soften movement, improve connection, and smooth weight transfer.
What we’ll cover:
• What makes SILC different from standard Ceroc
• SILC essentials and a few foundation moves
• Adapting familiar Ceroc movements for slower tempos
• How to slow down without feeling awkward
Who it’s for:
• Dancers who enjoy slower music but feel unsure dancing to it
• Dancers wanting more smoothness and flow
• Those who find Ceroc/MJ energetic and want a softer option
What to expect:
Clear, friendly teaching, plenty of practice time, a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, helpful feedback, and regular breaks with drinks and snacks provided.
SILC focuses on quality, comfort, and enjoyment. You’ll leave with practical skills you can use immediately on the freestyle floor.
