This workshop is designed for new dancers who want to consolidate their foundations & gain the confidence to freestyle without feeling overwhelmed.
The workshop will be a series of short, focused mini-classes with plenty of breaks and perfect if you enjoy a clear, structured framework where questions are encouraged.
The teaching pace will be relaxed, interactive, and supportive, with plenty of individual attention throughout the session.
We’ll cover:
• Core basic moves
• Connection
• How to lead and how to follow
• Practical hints and tips to make everything feel easier
We will also cover linking moves together, so you can start freestyling naturally to the music.
Our aim is to cover at least 8 moves but the pace of the day will be guided by the needs of the group
Tea/Coffee will be provided but bring some snacks and a light lunch.
We will need to balance Leads/Follows

Their is ample car parking at the village hall
Directions: Fowlmere is in a village between the A10 and A505
From A10 take the Shepreth Road towards Folwmere which turns into Long Lane. You will see houses on your left. Take the left turn onto Chrishall Road. After last house you will see a turning on your left (there will be a village hall sign opposite) - Drive onto the turning and you will arrive at the village hall
If coming from the A505 turn onto Chrishall Road. Drive for approx. 2 miles and just before the first house on left there is turning into the village hall. Drive onto the turning and you will arrive at the village hall
