This workshop is designed to help dancers overcome the awkwardness of dancing in proximity and instead turn it into a powerful tool for connection, communication, and musical expression.
This session focuses on the mechanics and confidence required for successful close-proximity dancing:
● Connection Mechanics: Learn how to maintain a comfortable yet responsive frame while in close hold to ensure clear leading and following.
● Comfort & Confidence: Break down the barriers of personal space to feel relaxed and focused on your partner and the music.
● Subtle Signaling: Master the 'micro-leads' that are essential when you don't have the distance of a standard hand-hold.
● Smooth Transitions: Practice moving fluidly between open and close holds without breaking the flow of the dance.
Note: This is an Intermediate+ workshop. It is best suited for dancers who are already confident with their intermediate repertoire and are ready to refine their connection and technique.

This venue is outside of the Congestion Charge zone but it is inside the newly expanded ULEZ zone.
Some public street parking is available outside and nearby. Public roads in this area have no restrictions on a Sunday but always check local signage to confirm.
