Event description
This workshop will improve your dancing by teaching relevant freestyle techniques: a selection of key moves form the basis of many intermediate variations.
We show you how to add a selection of beginnings and endings to our key moves, mixing and matching to build up an huge range of moves based on a small number of components.
All the moves are infinitely freestyleable and add depth and variety to your dancing. We focus on Connection, Lead and Follow to make sure men lead effectively and ladies follow rather than anticipate! After attending this workshop the intermediate class is much less daunting and you’ll have a toolkit of techniques you can use every week at your regular class or freestyle.
Before booking this workshop, we recommend you have completed the Beginner Syllabus and either attend a Beginner Improver Workshop or regularly attend an intermediate class.

In Nottingham follow signs to Nottingham Racecourse and continue past it on Daleside Road East (A612). At the second set of traffic lights turn left into Vale Road. The Colwick Community Centre is on your right after 100 yards. Turn right into the car park.
