Venue description

BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art is one of the most recognised landmarks in North East England. Situated on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, The, BALTIC consists of 2,600 square metres of art space, making it the UK’s largest dedicated contemporary art institution. The former flour mill offers a stylish and unique location for our Ceroc NE Black and White Ball.

The River Terrace is BALTIC’s most versatile event space. Its exclusive outdoor balcony, fully licensed bar and beautiful wooden floor make it an ideal space to hold our Black and White Ball. The views across the city by night are spectacular, making River Terrace a truly unique location.

Travel and parking information

BALTIC is situated on the Quayside in Gateshead, a 10 minute walk from Gateshead Town Centre.
BALTIC is accessible for pedestrians from the Newcastle Quayside over the Gateshead Millennium Bridge.

Parking
Parking spaces are available in the BALTIC Car Park. Follow Signage for 'Gateshead Quays' and 'Other Car Parks' until specific signage for BALTIC Car Park becomes visible. Spaces are pay on exit and you can pay by card or cash.

BALTIC Car Park charges are as follows:
Up to 1 hour £1.80
Up to 2 hours £3.30
Up to 3 hours £4.80
Thereafter £1.30/hour.

Coach drop off point is next to BALTIC on South Shore Road.

Travelling by Train or Metro:
Newcastle Central Station. 3 hours to London’s Kings
