Beginner Welcome Evening
Event start:
28/09/2026 7:00pm
Event end:
28/09/2026 10:30pm
Event description
You will arrive to a warm, friendly greeting from our crew, they will explain how the evening works, introduce you to a few people and make sure you feel right at home, then you will enjoy your very first Ceroc class - a fun easy to follow session where you will learn simple moves, swap partners and start dancing to the music straight away.
After the class there is time to practise, grab a drink and join our venue's Whatsapp group so you can keep in touch with the new friends. You will then take part in a relaxed beginner practice session, run by our crew, where you can go over the moves from your first class and build your confidence before your next visit.
No partner needed, no pressure - just a friendly night out and the start of your dancing journey.
If you can't make 28th September, no need to wait! Just come along any Monday at 7.15pm. We have beginners classes every week and team waiting to greet you!

Travel & Parking information
The venue has a free car park in front with spaces for 34 cars and a gravelled area that you can park on, the street parking is mainly permit holders, however there is a road opposite (Stracey Road) that does have some non permit parking
Just a couple of minutes walk from Norwich Train Station up Thorpe Road, as you pass the Royal Mail Sorting Office on your right hand side, the Canary Social Club is on the opposite side of the road at the junction of Thorpe Road with Rosary Road.
The car park does get very busy, we recommend if you are not staying the whole evening to park closer to the venue itself in the car park and those that are staying the whole evening if you could please park in the spaces furthest away from the venue so we use up all available space. If you are in a space furthest from the venue it is likely you will get blocked in and so if you leave early there won't be the need to ask you to move.
