Ceroc Membership Data - Privacy Notice

How do you have my data?

Ceroc is a membership club, and all new members are required to complete a membership form. This form contains various personal details and these may be used for promotional purposes, market research, emergencies or insurance requirements.

Additionally, some people email or write to us asking to be added to our mailing list.

What are you doing with my data?

We use it to make your Ceroc experience better for you. That includes doing things like:

  • Recommending events and materials that we think you’ll like.
  • Notifying you about things you’ve told us you like, like workshops or Ceroc merchandise

We also use it for business, regulatory and legal purposes, like:

  • Dealing with any requests you make or content you submit
  • Getting in touch if we need to tell you about something, like a change to our policies or issues like the cancellation of events.

Can I delete my data?

We are required to maintain a database of all members and their personal data for insurance purposes, and it's also important for emergencies. It's not nice to mention, but we have about one major medical incident at one of our events every month.

Nevertheless, we will consider all applications for your data to be removed, but this may result in your Ceroc membership being withdrawn and therefore you admittance to our events.

If you wish to stop receiving any communications from a particular Ceroc operator, then this will be respected swiftly following the receipt of an email request.

Do you share my data with other organisations?

All personal data is held within our encrypted bespoke database and we never share your information with anyone.
